Wooden Schooner 101

The schooner was built between 1947 and 1949 in Sarvisalo Finland. The ship is 31m long and one of the last original wooden-hulled sailing ships in Finland and around the world. In the early days, Kathrina sailed the Baltic Sea between Finland, Sweden and Denmark, carrying e.g. coffee, bicycles, steel, coal, grain, timber and lime.
